Tonight @ 10pm w/ the DoelenEnsemble live at national radio4!
Together with the DoelenEnsemble I play parts of Frank Zappa's piece 'Greggery Peccary' tonight at the radioprogram 'Virus' on national radio4. Also via the webcam on the website!
A fantastic piece of aprox. 25 minutes in which you can hear all sides of Zappa. The Ensemble: Matthew Rowe (conductor), DoelenEnsemble (orchestra), Kurt Berger (Narrater) and myself as Greggery Peccary. Esciting and Absurd: All musicstyles will pass the way only Zappa can compose!
So: Tonight 10pm on national Radio4: Greggery Peccary!

Zappa project with DoelenEnsemble
I will be collaborating in a project with 'Het DoelenEnsemble'. We'll perform Frank Zappa's piece 'Greggary Peccary' @ 2 great venues during the opening of the cultural season '11-'12:

NOA to Canada!
With our project 'CHAPTER 1' NOA takes off to Banff, Canada on march 11 to stay at the Banff Centre for a week to record our debut album!
The renowned Banff Centre is an instute with incredible facilities we can use during our residency.
After recording NOA will tour in Canada.
At the moment we're working hard to develop our repertoire and preparing the recordings and the tour. We're really looking forward to this trip!

2nd prize international vocal contest Germany!
I won the 2nd prize at the vocal competition in the German city of Finsterwalde this saturday.
There were 60 applicants from 10 countries, so that’s a nice result!
It was very well-organised and I met great people from all over Europe.
I played with the great pianist Daan Temmink which was a great experience. It actually asks for more collaborations, so we’ll see about that in the future!
The prize-money is very welcome for the plans I have with my band NOA for 2011. A NOA-update will follow soon!
